The Contest to Find the Most Caring Child.

Leo Buscaglia wrote that he judged a contest on the meaning of love.

One of the runners up was a 6 year-old named Nikka: “If you want to learn to love better, you should start with a person you hate.”

The winner was a 4 year-old boy whose next door neighbor was an elderly man who had just lost his wife. When the boy saw the man cry, he walked over to the man’s house, climbed onto his lap and sat there.

When the boy’s mother asked what he had said to the neighbor, he answered: “Nothing. I just helped him cry.”
